Tombstone Junction

Tombstone Junction was a Wild West themed amusement park outside of Corbin, KY from the 1950s until 1989, when it burned down in a mysterious fire that somehow managed to immolate the entire place except for the railroad ride. The railroad ride also met a fiery end shortly thereafter, when a guy used an acetylene torch to try to salvage steel from the wooden cars and they, of course, went up in flames. Aside from the roasted remains of those railroad cars, little is left of Tombstone Junction but its sign. There's a similar (but cheesier) place in Cave City called Guntown Mountain.
